In the wake of the severe floods and landslides that have recently devastated parts of Sri Lanka, the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo has stepped forward to assist affected communities.

Demonstrating the strong bond between the two nations, officials distributed essential dry ration packs to families displaced or impacted by the adverse weather. The relief bags, prominently displaying the message “Always Standing with Sri Lankan Brethren,” contained rice, flour, and other staple food items to provide immediate sustenance.

The distribution ceremony underscored Pakistan’s commitment to supporting its neighbor during times of crisis. High Commission officials were present on the ground to personally hand over the aid, ensuring it reached the most vulnerable individuals as they begin the recovery process.
